The T17 Internal Hex Bugle Head Screw 14‑10×50‑150 CL3 is a heavy‑duty fastener specifically designed for outdoor timber structures. Manufactured from hardened carbon steel with a CL3 zinc‑tin anti‑corrosion coating, it features a 6.3 mm shank diameter with a thick shank and coarse threads, combined with a bugle countersunk head, internal hex drive, and a T17 slotted drill point. Available in lengths from 50 to 150 mm, it enables secure fastening of various solid woods and preservative‑treated timbers without pre‑drilling, balancing structural strength with outdoor corrosion resistance.
Product Applications
Outdoor preservative‑treated wood landscaping: construction of decking, boardwalks, fences, pavilions, planters, and other pressure‑treated timber structures in inland rainy gardens with moderate corrosive environments.

Note: Not recommended for highly corrosive environments such as coastal high‑salt‑spray areas or poolside high‑chlorine conditions; for such applications, CL4‑coated or stainless steel screws are advised.
