Product Overview
This product is a countersunk ribbed self-tapping screw specifically designed for light-gauge steel framing applications, commonly known in the industry as a "light-gauge screw" (Keiten screw). It features thread specification ST3.5, a head diameter of 7mm, and is available in standard lengths ranging from 22mm to 51mm. The substrate is made of Cr6 high-carbon steel, hardened through carburizing and quenching, and finished with electroplated zinc plus hexavalent chromium blue-white passivation, presenting a uniform, bright blue-white metallic luster. Engineered specifically for fastening gypsum boards to light-gauge steel studs, the integrated countersunk head with cutting ribs and coarse self-tapping threads eliminates the need for pre-drilling and is compatible with power drivers for rapid installation. It is a mainstream standard fastening component in both residential and commercial ceiling and partition projects.
