Carbon Steel Collated Screws
Product Overview
Collated Phillips bugle head self-drilling drywall screw is an automated continuous fastening accessory specifically designed for light steel keel gypsum board installation, consisting of yellow color zinc-plated carbon steel self-drilling screws combined with an integrated transparent plastic collated strip. The screw features a drywall-specific Phillips countersunk head combined with a self-drilling wing drill point structure. Multiple screws are neatly snapped onto the plastic strip and can be used with a dedicated collated screwdriver for continuous feeding and driving, enabling one-step drilling, tapping, and fastening of gypsum boards, decorative panels, and light steel keels, greatly simplifying the construction process for partition walls and suspended ceilings. It is a high-efficiency fastener for large-area construction in commercial projects and prefabricated decoration.
Product Applications
Residential/commercial light steel keel, gypsum board partition walls, and suspended ceilings; calcium silicate board and fiber cement board on light steel substrates; prefabricated partitions and large-area suspended ceiling batch installation.
Plywood + light steel composite substrates, and connection/fixing of indoor thin metal decorative panels to gypsum boards.
Suitable for conventional indoor environments; for long-term high-humidity or outdoor use, stainless steel versions are recommended; not suitable for fastening steel plates over 3mm thick or solid hardwood.
Product Features
Collated continuous feeding for efficient installation: Screws are neatly fixed on a plastic strip, compatible with automatic collated screw guns, eliminating manual single-loading; the strip automatically detaches after driving, suitable for large-area batch construction.
Drywall countersunk head for a flat finish: The Phillips countersunk head can be fully embedded into gypsum boards and cement boards, leaving no protrusion on the panel surface, requiring no sanding before putty application; the Phillips recess engages firmly with driver bits to resist slipping.
Self-drilling point eliminates pre-drilling: The drill point is quench-hardened and can directly penetrate 0.6–2.5mm light steel keels, combining drilling and fastening in one step, eliminating the pre-drilling process.
Wide thread for secure fastening: The double-lead coarse thread both bites into panels to prevent cracking and locks securely into light steel keels, offering high pull-out and vibration resistance, and resisting loosening and cracking over long-term use.
Color zinc rust protection for indoor durability: The carbon steel substrate offers sufficient hardness, with a yellow color zinc surface coating that provides stable rust resistance in indoor dry and conventional humid environments.
